Shashi Naidoo is a South African actress and television anchor best known for co-hosting the E TV magazine show 20Something. Shashi Naidoo made her way into the community eye in 2004, when she played Linda McGinty – Ziggy’s girlfriend – in the E!tv soapie Backstage. Quickly after she had a brief role in the SABC1 soapie Generations. Shashi Naidoo also appears in a minor role in the 2007 mini-series Society. Shashi Naidoo began co-presenting the youth magazine show EMS Volume 1 on SABC1 on 2 October, 2007. Naidoo was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, matriculating from Alexander Road High School in 1997. Shashi Naidoo moved to Johannesburg to study chiropractic medicine and qualifies as a doctor in 2007. Naidoo dated reality TV contestant Ismail Hendricks, who appeared on the show The Apprentice South Africa in 2005. Shashi Naidoo also appears in FHM cover page topless.

Shashi is not actually a qualified Chiropractor. She did study Chiropractic but only completed for first 5 years. The degree structure works as follows: After 3 years you have your NDip (Chiro), after the 4th year you have a BTech (Chiro) but you are only a chiropractor after you have completed your MTech (Chiro) in your 6th year (according to the degree structure in South Africa). The BTech (Chiro) is utterly useless and you cannot practice with it. Sashi has a BTech (Chiro), and thus cannot claim to be a chiropractor and CANNOT actually work as a chiropractor.
